Provides thought leadership and subject matter expertise and leads competitive/market intelligence efforts for Anaplan.
This is a player-coach position that will work closely with Anaplan field, pre-sales, customer success, product management and product marketing team members to position Anaplan successfully against established and new competitors by individual LOB areas, such as, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain. This leader and his/her team are responsible for delivering competitive landscape insights, analyses and actionable strategic inputs that help direct short and long-term product and GTM roadmap.
The position involves deep competitive domain expertise, analysis, content and sales tools creation, sales training, and deal support.
As a leader of the organization that is growing significantly, the successful candidate must be a self-starter and a team player. He/she will have a competitive intelligence, product management, technical product marketing &/or sales related background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong technical knowledge of enterprise software platform technologies, and keen understanding of how enterprise SaaS platforms are purchased and used.
Work Location: Onsite at Anaplan HQ in San Francisco, CA
Position is based on-site at Anaplan HQ in San Francisco city. Open to candidates willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Travel Component: Minimal (less than 25%)
To effectively fill this role, the preferred candidate may travel up to 25%.
