We are looking for a Global Alliance Director to manage the overall relationship with 1-2 key GSI’s, with peer coordination globally. You should be part strategist, problem solver, sales manager, facilitator, therapist, evangelist, trusted advisor, task master, visionary, and ALWAYS focused on GSD [Getting Stuff Done].
Understanding the complexities and functional areas of a large GSI is a must, along with the knowledge of Anaplan’s addressable market, client needs, and go-to-market approach. The ability to ingest, understand, and add value to complex projects, intense sales cycle, and large personalities, along with influencing without authority, necessitates a unique individual. You will be given the critical task of taking Anaplan’s partnership with these firms to the next level.
Anaplan’s Alliance team is tasked with establishing deep, differentiated, and value added relationships with thought leaders, trusted advisors and subject matter experts that shape the planning landscape and drive tremendous value for their clients.
Anaplan’s Planning Platform enables GSI’s to deliver aggressive results for time-to-value while simultaneously creating a Connected Planning roadmap for organization-wide adoption across Finance, Sales Performance Mgmt, Supply Chain, Operations, and more. Our agnostic, powerful, cloud-based multi-dimensional planning tool is a complete game changer in how these trusted advisors can deliver projects and value.
What you’ll be doing:
The primary objective of this role will be to build & grow key strategic alliance relationships, evangelize Anaplan, and establish the ground game for building a large ($100M+) practice within the GSI’s. You will work closely with the Executive Leadership Teams on both sides of these alliances. This is a high profile position, which requires strong executive presence and thoughtful execution.
This role will report into the Vice President of Global & Strategic Alliances, and will work cross-functionally with regional Alliances, Field Sales, Enablement, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and various Operational Support Teams to build a comprehensive blueprint for success with one of our key Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners. In effect, you will be the “commander” of one of our most significant alliance relationships.
