Marketing at Anaplan is a group of passionate, seasoned and very dynamic marketing leaders responsible and accountable for driving the Anaplan brand and creating impactful digital marketing programs that deliver leads and pipeline across the Anaplan product family.

 

Your Opportunity

 

In this newly created, individual contributor role, you will drive the optimization of digital, global marketing paid programs and tactics based on data by leveraging leading analytical capabilities. From identifying winning marketing strategies, optimizing the mix (paid, earned) based on attribution to shaping the overall digital model working closely with a team of data driven Marketing Pros. You will be responsible for the implementation of the analytical capabilities, their use, best practices.

Your Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Sr. Director for Strategic Insights, you will be based in Bangalore, India and will:

 

  • Deep understanding of Google AdWords (SEM), LinkedIn/Social Paid Ads, and any adjacent emerging technologies in paid media space.
  • Working understanding of SEO optimization; SEO vs SEM keywords rationalization.
  • Ability to crystalize what’s working and NOT working from paid media perspective.
  • Identify, prioritize, structure and solve complex Marketing problems, through the use of analytics and business judgment that lead to higher revenue, reduce costs and/or increase customer satisfaction
  • Working knowledge or basic understandings of different Marketing Demand Gen Tools and vendors such as Google Analytics (GA), Adobe Web Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce.
  • Monitor KPIs, web analytics dashboards, sales & marketing reports and point out key areas of importance in accordance to company goals.

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Marketing or a field with a quantitative focus or a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • 5 or more years of relevant professional experience in SEM space, ideally a combination of professional services/consulting and high-tech experience working for US based companies; B2B experience is highly desired.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to look at vast amounts of data and synthesize that information into intelligence that can be acted upon by the business
  • Working knowledge or desire to learn Data Management Platform (DMP) and Demandside Platform (DSP) and emerging technologies in AdTech space. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEM metrics, marketing ROI reporting and analytics.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Strong project/time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven
