At Anaplan, we are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Marketing Systems and Operations Manager, to join our lean, mean global marketing machine that builds the awareness and generates the demand for the platform that is helping people and companies across the globe to improve their planning processes, make better-informed decisions, and optimize their business results. The Marketing Systems Operations Manager will be located at our headquarters in the city-by-the-bay, San Francisco, as a key part of the global Marketing Operations team that drives operations planning, processes, infrastructure, systems and performance management for the Anaplan marketing department.
You will work cross-functionally with individuals and teams in marketing and sales to support the development, execution and measurement of account-based, multi-channel campaigns that focus on generating high quality opportunities to meet pipeline and revenue goals. You will then monitor, analyze and evaluate campaign and pipeline performance and results and provide recommendations for optimizations to improve performance benchmarks.
You have a strong understanding of the B2B marketing and sales funnel, are passionate about operational efficiencies, and have deep experience with campaign operations. You engage in thoughtful investigation of data to compliment decision making and are willing to go the extra mile to help the team optimize data, processes and infrastructure to improve results. You are a team player, have a mindset to help and enable people around you, and are committed to finding the best solutions to the operational challenges we face.
What you'll be doing:

Marketing Technology: Own and manage marketing technology infrastructure, governance and roadmap in partnership with and/or supported by Sales Operations and other Marketing functions where appropriate.

Data Management: Define and manage the strategic plan for marketing data management, including database growth and enrichment, governance, and quality assurance.

Marketing Automation: Oversee all marketing automation programs, including marketing scoring models, nurturing flows and rules, and company-wide best practices
More about you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is required unless there is significant, relevant work experience
- 4-6 years Marketing Operations experience
- 3-5 years Marketo experience
- Marketo Certified preferred
- Understanding and experience working within the context of a shared Marketing and Sales funnel
- Work collaboratively to understand business needs and turn those into marketing technology solutions and repeatable, scalable processes
- Knowledge of how to identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement technology, ideally of a marketing or database/analytical nature (social monitoring, web site analytics/data analytics, CRM systems)
- Problem solver with the ability to make recommendations in a structured, professional manner to business stakeholders from varied functions and at all levels of the organization
- Ability to recognize a need for or gap in a process and propose and implement an appropriate resolution
- Project management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
