And these teams can’t function successfully without the support, direction, and guidance of our high performing Operations team!

This important contributor role on the Anaplan Operations team gives you a fantastic opportunity to help scale our business through strengthening and growing our global Customer Success teams. Working to ensure our team is equipped with the best enablement, tools, processes, and communications they need to work with our Customers to make them successful.

The Role

Are you:

  • Strong technically at building models in Anaplan, multi-dimensional environments, or excel (at a minimum)?
  • Highly capable in managing data sets from multiple sources?
  • Analytically minded, and able to build the tools, and bring together the data and metrics we need to track the health and scale of our partner ecosystem?
  • Passionate about processes?
  • Are you cool and calm under pressure, and able to remain focused on delivering to project plans and driving results?
  • Excited by the prospect of being a key data custodian and insights author, in a company that makes its decisions in a data-driven way?
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical specs, and able to able to elevate the data conversation to focus on outcomes and results
  • Able to “see around corners”, ensuring the things you design and build are ready for scale?
  • Able to see the meaning in the numbers, and capable of translating data into insights?
  • Passionate about collaborating across teams on projects that really make an impact to the future of Anaplan and our customers?

What you'll be doing:

As a Customer Operations Analyst, you’ll report to the Senior Manager, Customer Operations and collaborate closely with the global Customer Success, Operational Excellence Group, and Sales Operations teams to help strengthen and scale the Customer Success team.

You will be part of Anaplan’s Operations team that operate globally to provide the tools, processes, best-practice collateral, and operational support that make our Customer Success team, and ultimately customers successful.

  • Design, build, and maintain the Anaplan models that are used by internal Anaplan teams
  • Document standard operating procedures
  • Be the chief steward of customer and services-related data with the support of Field Operations
  • Provide cross-functional analytical support to programs being driven by the Customer Operations team
  • Develop, track and evangelize the metrics that are critical for achieving customer success operational excellence

  • Leverage insights from the data you own, to “tell the story” to help influence outcomes
  • Interface with the Anaplan Finance team, to help share financial insights in business terms with our field leaders
  • Own the User Experience and adoption of the tools and dashboards you create, thinking carefully about user interfaces, and seeking feedback from the user community

The responsibilities aren’t always defined. It’s critical that you have the skills, motivation and initiative to really take ownership of the Customer Operations space to help drive us forward as a company. This role requires high levels of autonomy, accountability, and integrity!

 Who you are:

  • BA/BS required. MA/MBA a bonus
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role (Consulting, Operations, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • A proven record of developing high performing, highly technical models (financial, operational, or other)
  • Data-driven with a commitment to process improvement
  • Strong reputation working with inter-disciplinary teams as being innovative, accountable, reliable, and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Prior experience building Anaplan models is highly preferred
  • As understanding of Salesforce and ETL tools is a plus
  • Advanced excel and analytical experience is a must
  • Endless curiosity and need to dive deeper for understanding
