Job Description:

Digital prowess and creativity are the hallmarks of success in this role. As the owner of the company’s social media, managed content platforms and digital communication channels our Social Media Manager is a key member of the Corporate Marketing team. S/He will keep us engaged with our audiences across platforms and channels while dreaming up new ways to stay top of mind and relevant.

 

You are ultimately responsible for:

  • Implementing Anaplan’s social media strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption
  • Being a point of contact and guidance for all teams that create and publish content, and maintaining relationships with user communities on multiple platforms; making sure there is connection between Anaplan social channels and our Community
  • Reporting on the process of applying various social media tactics using a variety of digital analytics and media tracking tools
  • Collaborating with internal marketing and public relations teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating an engaged social media community

What each exciting day looks like:

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web track metrics related to social media and digital communications
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Managed content platform ownership in accordance with editorial calendars and business initiatives
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Cool things that pop up where social media can make a difference

Your profile should include:

  • 3-7 years of proven work experience in a social media position within a technology, software or SaaS company
  • 2-3 years B2B social media experience
  • Experience creating a social media strategy
  • Experience managing social media/online marketing on multiple channels
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge and experience with SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Hands on experience in Content Management, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Social Media, External Communications
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with web design would be nice
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • A really good attitude and desire to have an impact
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
