Sr. Marketing/Sales Operations and Reporting Manager

As a critical member of the marketing team, this role is primarily responsible for working across marketing, sales development, and sales operations to execute best-practice processes and infrastructure to enable best-in-class marketing, sales development and sales performance tracking and measurement. 

Through the analysis of marketing and sales data, you will propose ways in which we can increase demand and pipeline generation by focusing resources and efforts on high-ROI programs.

You will also support the sales development team – a key function within marketing – with process and infrastructure management. 

You will work cross-functionally with sales and sales operations, as well as collaborate closely across corporate, event, demand, sales development and regional marketing teams to ensure processes, data, reporting and analysis are accurate, timely and insightful.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting and Analysis

  • Track and analyze marketing and sales KPIs for campaign, pipeline and revenue targets; create and maintain visual and insightful dashboards to track growth and performance over time for multiple channels, audiences, etc.
  • Dive into a broad range of sales, content and marketing data to derive actionable insights that help drive and improve growth and retention
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to aid in data-driven decision-making; present key findings and insights in creative, logical ways to stakeholders
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative diagnoses to understand the business and identify opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness and productivity
  • Build, manage and maintain reports/dashboards within Anaplan and Salesforce CRM (and other tools as we scale)
  • Present results of analysis, propose solutions, expected impact and outcomes across marketing and sales

Operations

  • Enable the sales development team with data, processes and tools (SalesLoft, LinkedIn Navigator, etc.) to drive pipeline generation
  • Develop mechanisms to track and monitor sales development SLAs and efficiency KPIs (volume of emails, calls, meetings, etc.)
  • Assist in creating and executing sales contests and spiffs to inspire and motivate

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or related field is required unless there is significant, relevant work experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in similar role (sales or marketing ops) in enterprise software or SaaS organization
  • Deep operational B2B sales and marketing processes knowledge, including experience and expertise with marketing automation and CRM solutions (Marketo and Salesforce.com experience preferred)
  • Experience in measurement, dashboards/analytics, and data / systems integration
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment and willingness to roll up sleeves and pitch in to support the team
  • Excellent presentation, writing and receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a concise and objective manner and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience
  • Team player, able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
  • Ability to work within deadlines and in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Some knowledge of programing languages to aid in analysis is a plus
  • Strategic thinker with proven experience with multi-channel campaign and digital marketing analytics
