Day 1

You're nearly ready to start!

Things to Know

  • Orientation Email: Be on the lookout for an email about Orientation on Day 1 (Subject: Orientation). This email will contain location-specific information for Day 1 as well as documentation that you’ll need to bring.
    • Remote employees: If you are not starting in an office, your laptop will be shipped to you the weekend before your start date. You’ll need to start your Orientation on a personal device.

  • Dress Code: The dress code at all Anaplan offices is business casual.

  • What About Lunch? Your manager and team will likely join you for your first day, however, if you have dietary restrictions or have something scheduled at another time, you can:
    • Brown bag it. Refrigerators are available at all locations and we have great lunchrooms (and roof decks!).
    • Go out. All Anaplan offices are centrally located with plenty of places to grab some lunch should you choose to go out.

Biography

Please prepare a short bio and find a great photo of yourself to share with your new colleagues. The Employee Dev team will make sure it gets to all the right places. Before your first day, email your bio to the Employee Development Team.

Bio Guidelines:

  • 1-2 paragraphs (~100 words)
  • Both professional and personal background
  • Use 3rd person (Eryn is a trainer with experience in education and goat wrangling and will be joining the team as a Program Manager. She will be on the Employee Development team and is looking forward to bringing innovative ideas to our employee learning programs. Eryn lives in Kalamazoo and enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and their pets. She also enjoys bullet journaling and podcasting in her spare time.)
